He has a fireplace and was able to heat that room.
Smart for a poodle.

If you've got somebody looking after the dog, I assume they can build a fire, although poodles are supposedly pretty sharp.

See my opening post in the thread.
Re Jr, it’s an odd comment even without the ambiguity. As if Cuomo isn’t getting plenty of heat from all sources.

As I said, this was politically stupid and the optics are bad. But, from a practical standpoint, how did his trip really affect Texans rather than causing an outrage?
The same legacy media that cared not a whit that Austin’s Democrat Mayor Steve Adler was in Cabo San Lucas while officiously demanding his subjects hide their faces behind masks on Thursday descended on Ted Cruz.

I think you need to add the ".com" to those searches.
You're right. My bad.
New York Times on Cabo and Mayor Adler:
CNN - 1 story:
CNN on Newsom - 3 stories:
The NY Times had more stories.
Now, compare CNN's Coverage of Cruz in the last 36 hours:
-
My shock over this isn't that Ted Cruz was so heartless that he took a holiday in the middle of a crisis.
It is that he was so dumb that he thought it wouldn't get sprayed all over the media, and make him look like a complete turd.

And, quelle horreur!, it's blinding obvious to even the most rabid Leftist, that Cruz's roundtrip was logarithmically worse than anything a mere Leftist could do...

The whole article just reads very gossipy.

Or has a Chinese spy as a chauffeur.
Or has a Pakistani IT person.
Fine to discriminate against a spy, but it is illegal and immoral to discriminate against a chauffeur or an IT person or a First Lady for his or her country of origin.

Even at the time, the guy was held to be a simple chauffeur, IIRC, and his being a spy never amounted to more than speculation.
But hey, speculation is where it's at in this Age of Social! Listen up, idiot children! I have the WHOLE REAL STORY! Not only was he a SPY but, yes, he was also Hilary's HOT LOVER! Because not only was he a chauffeur, but he was BLIND, cuz who'd tap that otherwise, amirite? And not only that, but she had his child! No, wait -- she didn't have A baby, she had eight babies! Four sets of twins! And not only that, but she had them ALL AT ONCE! And not only that, but when they were born, she ATE THEM! Yup, popped 'em on pizzas from that child sex-ring pizza shop she operated in D.C.!
There, that should keep you busy for awhile.
