For those who got vaccinated, any side effects?

The evening of her 1st vaccination, Mrs. George got pain in her tongue. Yes, her tongue. I asked the nurse yesterday about it when I got mine, and she said she's heard of it as well, but it's uncommon.
Me? Nothing yesterday, and now, about 20 hours later, just the slightest, the slightest, soreness at the injection site. It feels like I bumped it into a door or something.

Pfizer and nothing at all.
That sounds like a good title for a song.

A Kenny G song!
I just googled him out of curiousity. He is apparently very big in China and his rendition of a Chinese song has become the closing song for many businesses, especially food courts.
Well, it ain't the Rolling Stones, but a guy's gotta make a living.

Everyone I’ve spoken to said dose two is where the real side effects happen.

All the anecdotal evidence I have heard indicates the second Moderna shot is rougher.

And the data support that. This is from a presentation the foundation organized back in December:

So far nothing, will have 2nd shot on Friday. Most friends who got Pfizer also had no issues. My friend who got Moderna said the 2nd shot hit him with chills that night and lethargy the next day.

Friend of mine just had 2nd Moderna on Monday. Yesterday she felt like she had the flu. Slept it off with Benadryl most of the day.

One side effect that I have noticed from the outside? There seems to be an uncontrollable desire to share pictures and alert people on social media that you have had the vaccination. Very odd. I’ve had countless vaccinations and boosters and have never felt the need to share... This mRNA seems to be some weird stuff.

1 dose Moderna so far.
Other than I felt tired the next day, but that may or may not have come from the shot. Beside that, a teeny soreness where the shot went in but that is all.

The 2 days after Moderna shot 1 I had intense stiffness in that arm. Very difficult to raise my arm up above my head. It woke me up the one night and I took some ibuprofen. Better by the 3rd day.

Yeah I noticed that too. It's kind of a humble-brag thing, and pretty annoying and offensive to those who cannot get it yet. Even I was hesitant in sharing that I got the vaccine (through my job) since I know others need it more than I do.

The better part of a year is a long time for anyone to wait to get vaccinated. I think it's natural to be more than a little excited about it.
