RIP Aunt Jemima

Has a ring to it, doesn't it?

Interesting:
âMany people prefer fake maple syrup, the stickier alternative to the concentrated sap from sugar maple trees. In a recent consumer survey, the Washington Post found that while 27 percent of the Americans polled liked real maple syrup, nearly 70 percent preferred artificial versions (25 percent chose Aunt Jemima, 24 percent picked Mrs Butterworthâs, and 14 percent preferred Log Cabin).â

We eat mostly cane syrup, not maple (although I do have a small bit of maple. Not the best grade, but farmer grade). I prefer locally made cane syrup, but it's getting harder to find.
Commercially, some people like Steen's, but I prefer Norris.

I like real maple syrup but it is super expensive to get.
(I know it is long and difficult to make, so I understand the price)

Yep... I have a bottle around the house, but don't use it for pancakes or waffles. I will use it for cooking...
