Here's what I believe... I believe Joe has never been a die-on-this-hill politician. He's made a career out of the smile, handshake and the stance of the moment. Right now, he's elderly, declining in his mental faculties and intensely monitored and handled by his team.
His team is much more influenced by current Dem (read Leftist) thought, than perhaps Joe is. Part of that current Dem thought aligns nicely with Ms. KathyK's historical thoughts about Israel and its place in the world. I think a lot of this current crop of Dems secretly wish the Germans would have finished the job...

I think you're spending too much time in the right wing echo chamber.
Of course, as we know there's absolutely no anti-semitism amongst the far right. Anybody who thinks otherwise will be shot with a Jewish space-laser.

There's a difference between 5% of the right and a prevalent sentiment among 20% of the Left.

Kinda sad.Yeah, this whole headline reeks of bullshit. Not that that will stop his detractors from beating him over the head with it anyway.

What do you know?
Enough to know that I don't know very much about it.
You know a lot about history though.

There is an undeniable shift against Israel and the Jewish in the Democrat party. Too many years of trying to play too many sides in the game of identity politics. Right now, the BLM movement is at center stage... https://www.tabletmag.com/sections/news/articles/from-left-to-right-jewish-groups-condemn-repellent-black-lives-matter-claim-of-israeli-genocide
You have rising figures like AOC https://www.clevelandjewishnews.com/jns/aoc-praises-support-of-anti-semitic-groups-for-letter-censuring-israeli-sovereignty/article_3e3f2e12-828e-51b1-970c-4a0542b6dedc.html https://zioness.org/new-york-jewish-leaders-perplexed-that-aoc-wont-engage-with-them/
And we won't even mention Omar.
And just like @Aqua-Letifer , I've repeatedly heard mildly antisemitic remarks from liberal friends.

@horace said in White House Spox won't say that Israel is an ally:
I would like to understand from Bach whether Israel was largely pro-Trump during his administration.
Fair enough
Basically splits along the pro and anti bibi lines
Pro bibi tended to be pro trump although with the caveat that bibi was usually seen as much more politically savvy
Anti bibi appreciated some of the decisions made (Jerusalem embassy, peace accords with UAE) but saw the same populism in trump that was happening with bibi (and in other places around the world, India, UK, etc)

So, along pop culture lines, it was a draw? In America, it was far from a draw. It was a dominating win against Trump.

I am amused by how many Jews there are on WTF. What do they think they are doing? Idiots.
WTF is that supposed to mean?
It's supposed to mean that the team they think they are on, is not the team they are on.
