I would not bet on that, any more than I would bet the Trump effect is now eliminated. The personalities may go but the driving forces behind them have not.

As Clint Eastwood famously said, "man's got to know his limitations." AOC could easily have made a more measured commentary - and it would have been fine. "Even though I wasn't in the Capital itself..."

This rings a lot like Hillary's famous run across the tarmac dodging bullets. Great story for friends after a few drinks at the bar - but not something you share publicly.
