Sounds like a real good vs evil fight. Certainly that is the narrative propagated by high status white liberals here with no real skin in the game.
Perhaps you should speak to some First Nations people about it too. Wouldn't hurt.

It's really, really, not about them. If you want to know what it's about, check the viral thing that starts the riots.

If BLM were a cohesive social idea of Good vs Evil, it would be about them. But it's really not. It's a tool used by high status liberals to attain and maintain power over the culture. There is huge rhetorical value within the idea that white cops kill black people because racism. From that can be derived broader systemic racism. No such rhetorical value exists within other race combinations. The whole culture is terrified of questioning that narrative. People do lose jobs. And as I've grown older, I've questioned more and more whether there's an actual difference between received social ideas parroted due to social intimidation, and real ideas observed by a rational human mind.

That might be the case in the US. So you're probably right.
Here though it is much broader. BLM is one small aspect of systemic racism.
Still, I wouldn't claim BLM as exclusive to the US. It is elsewhere, may be just not quite as much in your face.
