It’s and all, I just keep wanting the “whah whah whah” sound to be produced by a trumpet with a plunger mute.

I love the second half. The oboe, the soprano. Great stage props too.

@mark When I was watching it on my computer I thought “I’d like to hear this using Mark’s speakers”.

@jon-nyc Ah! I have YouTube Premium on trial subscription. I will take it upstairs. Although my desktop speakers are no slouch either. JBL Studio monitors and a 12" Sony Subwoofer.

@mark yeah I was just thinking about your desktop speakers as I listened through my monitor. I didn’t know what you had, but knew it would be awesome

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Really enjoyed that. The guitar needed a bit more twang - should have used a Telecaster.

Thinking about this, this has to be one of the most recognizable film scores ever written.

And of you think about its competition, they’re usually from franchises.

Bond theme, Jaws theme, Star Wars, Pink Panther. All franchises ranging from a decade to six decades and counting.

This was a single move that came out half a century ago.

Is there anything comparable in terms of recognition? Maybe Psycho with the shower scene.

I thought of that. But that’s a musical. All the famous musicals have recognizable songs.

But yeah, it’s up there in recognition.

Yeah, but again a franchise. On the order of Jaws. A good decade long, three or four films.

But it's up there in recognizability.
