Separately, and I'm weird like this, I look at the rug and think...what was the process to make that? When was it designed, who manufactured it, where was it kept the last few days, who screened it to make sure there weren't any hidden recording devices, etc. All for it to be installed on Day 1.

Even the carpet has changed in the Oval Office, with the golden-cream rug that was in place for Trump replaced by a deep blue that was in place during Bill Clinton’s presidency
