Apparently, ex-boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend bought this house together. Property record show that they both bought the property, but I can't find whose name is on the deed.
He is still living there, and his ex-girlfriend (who bought the property with him) is not.
Lawyer up.

Reminds me of a classic:
A groom breaks tradition by taking a quiet moment with his bride before their wedding...
He can barely get one word in before she drops to her knees and gives him the best blowjob heβs ever had.Later, beaming, as he takes his place at the altar, his best man asks him why heβs so happy.
βI just got the best blow job of my life, and Iβm marrying the woman who did it!β He replies...
Likewise, his bride comes down the aisle grinning ear to ear...
Her maid of honor asks her why sheβs so happy.
To which she replies: βI just gave the last blowjob of my life!β

Real life is not a fairy tale.
Every family has its own challenges.
The intersection of family law, property law, and immigration law is not always coherent.
Let's hope they did what they did with the best of intentions and every one went into it fully informed and with their own free will. -
