I was sorta kidding, but I don't think he'll stay chastened long.

@Jolly where do you put the chances of Trump supporters taking guns to the streets to start a civil war if indeed the 25th Amendment is carried out?

I think most of the country isn't even paying attention.

Word has it Pence does not support which effectively kills it.

Plan B would have 2/3 of the Senate support it which doesn’t seem plausible at this point.

So it’s got political value to express disdain but that’s it.

So I was thinking, last night they are talking about the 25th which can only effectively happen if Pence supports it, so Pence goes to Trump and says you are out unless you doing the following...

              1. Commit to an orderly transition first thing this morning.
              2. Agree to delete the offending tweets
              3. Commit again tonight and add you condemn what happened and make transition your focus.

Question ....what next, how many more are there and is there at least one a day?

I may be wrong, but if idiots start throwing the 25th around, you better tell the Capitol Police to fix bayonets.

                  I agree.

I also predict that President Trumps Twitter account will be very very very quiet for the next two weeks.

The good thing, that according to his calendar, he is still working hard from early morning to late at night and making many phone calls and having many meetings.

While I doubt the 25th would happen, if it did, the MAGA Mob wouldn't do anything substantial.

What you saw yesterday was pretty much all of the loonies out there who actually believe the election was stolen AND care enough to travel to protest it. And of them, only a percentage actually stormed the Capitol.

In other words......yesterday we saw the honeypot attract the most diehard Trumpers who would actually do something if Trump were removed from office, and they're a pretty small slice of the MAGA movement, IMO.

Trump’s worried about legal trouble, not the 25th amendment.

                        Interesting

Mr. Trump initially resisted taping the video, agreeing to do it only after aides pressed him and he appeared to suddenly realize he could face legal risk for prodding the mob, coming shortly after the chief federal prosecutor for Washington left open the possibility of investigating the president for illegally inciting the attack by telling supporters to march on the Capitol and show strength.

Pat A. Cipollone, the White House counsel, had warned Mr. Trump of just that danger on Wednesday as aides frantically tried to get the president to intervene and publicly call off rioters, which he did only belatedly, reluctantly and halfheartedly.

“We are looking at all actors, not only the people who went into the building,” Michael R. Sherwin, the U.S. attorney in Washington, told reporters. Asked if that included Mr. Trump, he did not rule it out. “We’re looking at all actors,” he repeated. “If the evidence fits the elements of a crime, they’re going to be charged.”

I didn't catch the context on this, but I also saw a clip of Giuliani calling for "trial by combat". WTF?! Who are these people? I'm guessing he's seen game of thrones.
