The 2 pipe bombs were discovered outside RNC Headquarters and appear to be meant as an attack against Republicans...
"The chief also confirmed that police recovered two pipe bombs at the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee offices. "

Ok... so one report is wrong...

Honestly, at this point I'd support removing him from office based on the 25th.
Agreed.
Haven’t read rest of thread yet but I was just saying the same to my good buddies who are all conservative too. We all support his immediate removal by 25th amendment or by impeachment.
David Frum:
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/01/remove-trump-tonight/617576/I guess you guys are not alone. Though to be honest, I don’t think I want to go that far, I still believe there are enough sane people in Congress, in the courts, and in the armed forces, to prevent Trump from actually creating a bigger riot or bigger insurrection without having to formally remove Trump from office between now and Biden getting sworn in.

And you’re surprised? Same city, 3 weeks earlier:

EV count drama on the Hill?
Magat Vermin vs Antifa Scum outside?
Or Trump’s twitter feed?
So @jon-nyc , which was the winner?
The real answer was “Magat vermin vs America”

Ah, the glee contained within this thread...For some, Christmas came twice...

I didn’t see glee during this. I saw anger and contempt.
Damn right
Anger and contempt is what those on the right have been dealing with for the past four years, just so you know. Personally, I'm well aware we're all human.

There was no glee from me, and I sure as hell wasn't happy to see people die, whatever you might choose to imply about me, Jolly.

Same. I feel sadness mainly.

I'm not implying. I'm painting you all with a nice four-inch paintbrush. I can positively hear the chuckles from some of you, as you sit in self-righteous glory, seeing that filth get what they deserve. If it's a horrible story and Trump or his supporters are involved, it is time for some to rejoice. To wallow in the sheer joy of victory. Let the MAGATs hit the floor!
I see this differently. I think it's a very sad day when citizens are so riled up or aggrieved, they storm the Capitol. I have no problem defending the building or the people inside with deadly force. I think that we have not been as aggressive as needed in more than one Washington incident. Same opinion for other cities, such as Portland.
I don't think it's a day to dance around the living room bunker, laughing about a Trump political defeat. I think it's a day to ask one's self, How did we get here?. Sure, there are always nuts on both sides, but Trump exists for a reason and so do the millions of votes that were cast for him. There is also a reason why millions think this last Presidential election was rigged.
Some of you might reflect on how the people in those overwhelmingly red counties feel, and why they voted as they did. But I doubt that most of you will. You're too busy scoring political points and enjoying yourselves...

BTW, the woman that was shot and killed was a 14-year Air Force veteran, with four tours of duty.
What happened to the 'antifa thugs bussed in by Soros' theory? Or has he expanded his recruiting?

Nope. THat's not different at all. This part anyway. The difference is, along with the sadness, we have anger directed at the man who did the riling and the enablers that knew better.

How does one account for this other than voting for Hillary? Honest question.
