CA has a lot of rural elements to it but the population centers are filled with programmed leftist robots entirely convinced of their own righteous superiority. Decent people will be leaving, especially after the inevitable tax increases. I had been thinking of buying another upscale house here, but no, I will not spend the rest of my life surrounded by imbeciles.

To be honest I don't quite understand what you're saying but I think we would agree that rubbishing the large numbers of people who voted for popularist movements like Trump/Brexit is a terrible mistake. That the causes that underlie these movements run deep and are meaningful, and that weaponised cultural superiority is a very dangerous force.

Yes I recall the yarn you once wrote about your experience at the hands Customs officials when you tried to enter this sovereign nation. I am sure though they had their own good reasons to heap bureaucratic and officious persecution on you and your party. Not unlike the welcome many of us, unenfranchised stakeholders, receive when we enter your brightly spangled republic.
Not to worry though, if I had my way I would make certain that certain active posters in this forum would require entry visas to visit this country. In that way we can ensure that good bilateral relations are maintained at all levels.
