I wanted to hear the Bob Dylan song “Neighborhood Bully” off his 1983 record Infidels. That’s how I discovered that YouTube won’t let you hear the song. It turns out that this man Bob Dylan, so beloved by the American cultural establishment and winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in literature, is guilty of hate speech. Sooner or later, they all are.
I wanted to hear “Neighborhood Bully”—a jaunty four-and-a -half minute rock ‘n’ roll number—but I can’t remember why. The song has its charms, including a driving three-chord electric guitar, but it’s nowhere near Dylan’s best and I’m not some kind of fanatic who enjoys wallowing in the master’s obscurities. The impulse might have come to me while I was trying to Google something else, and the search results triggered the association.

Never heard of the song, I've never even listened to a single Bob Dylan song intentionally in my entire life, and I have no interest in diving into this.
But he did just sell his entire catalog maybe a month ago. Are we sure this isn't something the new copyright owner is doing? Or a temporary result of some transition they're making?

From what I understand, if a pop song has been covered many times by many different bands, more often than not it's originally a Bob Dylan song.
That said, without looking anything up, I could only name two of his songs, "Like a rolling stone" and "Knockin' on heavens door".

My favorite Bob Dylan song (I learned to play the ukulele when we lived in Maine and learned how to fingerpick the part from this guy’s video).

If you Google the song, YouTube says it's only available to Music Premium members, which would imply it's copyright rather than censorship.

Man U people are too young
I grew up listening to Dylan day and night. But maybe it was the Jewish connection
Speaking of which , neighborhood bully, not one of his best. But ok we appreciate the plug.
In high school we played blood on the tracks over and over until there were more scratches than music.
(For those that don’t know, vinyl records could get scratched a lot)

Btw the video copper posted, it’s not played at the right speed, it’s off key from the original

Now I’m out with the dog listening to shelter from the storm from blood on the tracks.
Really beautiful
