Not sure this is helpful. The order in which to "read" the codes is hard to remember.

25 years ago I was a reasonably good CW (as the ham radio people say) operator. I was never fast - about 30-40 characters per minute was my maximum - but I knew Morse code and also the relevant Q codes by heart.

Actually seems to make sense to me. The two letters that seem “odd” are the F and the P.

Not sure how I would’ve changed it, but they don’t seem to follow the pattern. 🙂

The pattern I see is top-bottom, then left to right. So, yeah, "F" would be dit-dah-dit-dit.

Unless left to right takes priority - so confusing.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I wonder if you can program a cell phone to transmit Morse code when you tap the screen.

              I was only joking

Stumbled across a video on Reddit that was cool, then found a bunch of other videos. Then found this thread. Internet blackhole gets me again!

BTW @Klaus I almost started a new thread but as I typed the title out it prompted me to check out this existing thread first.

@89th thanks for sharing those videos. I think I will try the 10 minute learning of the Morse code!!!

(If I do, I will start using morse code in my writing on this forum!!! LOL)
