Ok Trump was right about vaccines

This is just how stupid the democrat party thinks it's base is. They will continue to ignore Trump'sbachievements, and then claim Biden did it. Assuming Biden ends up in office, the media and the democrat party will give Biden credit for the vaccine, when the shutdowns end and the economy bounces back they'll claim Biden did it, and 2 or 3 years from now when the wheels begin coming off the economy and we are heading down the toilet as a nation, it will be because Trump is campaigning again.

Yeah Biden is going to save the country from Covid (Gore 2.0). That will be hilarious to watch him and the media go for that mantle. Seriously I can’t wait. Cheap scotch everywhere.
I’d love to see the press conference.
I think we’ve all forgotten that before Trump presidents used to be able to talk about government plans and timelines without pretending they are some kind of personal accomplishment that made him better than Lincoln or whatever.
Remember when Presidents did the opposite? Both parties. They would actually say something like “thanks to all the hard work of...” and then reference the nameless staff in the departments.

Yeah, politicians never tried to take credit for things they had little to do with personally like killing Bin Laden, creating the internet, etc...

No question that Trump is far more brazen and crass with his self-promotion, but let’s not pretend that others haven’t done it, if only in a more understated manner.

That’s true. I was responding to Loki’s suggestion that Biden was presenting himself as the savior.
I seriously doubt he did that.
You can doubt it all you want, but Biden has already done it.

Before the vaccine came out being the Covid savior was at the top of his platform. If he can substitute something else you are correct. The dilemma is how do you stop Trump from being right about the vaccine and co-opt credit for it. Everything is going to get better next year, would be a shame if the root cause was the prior administration.

Give us three months of Biden and you'll long for the days when Presidents could speak coherently.
