Solti's Beethoven

By the way, I had a subscription to the CSO back in the mid 1970s. It was in the gallery, the nosebleed section. A season's subscription, for 10 concerts was $35. That's about $170 today. $17 per concert. Those were remarkable years: Solti was the new-ish music director, Carlo Maria Guilini was the principal guest conductor.
This, pretty much was my view:
My seat for the last few seasons is a little better:
-
What would be considered the best seat? I think a bit better to be slightly elevated like your current seat.

How does the aisle seat get designated C102?
What happened to C101?
The seats to the left have even numbers: C102, C104, C106, etc.
The seats to the right have odd numbers. My seat was C103, right next to C101.
