By the way, I had a subscription to the CSO back in the mid 1970s. It was in the gallery, the nosebleed section. A season's subscription, for 10 concerts was $35. That's about $170 today. $17 per concert. Those were remarkable years: Solti was the new-ish music director, Carlo Maria Guilini was the principal guest conductor.

Yes, it is really dry too, bring plenty of fluids.

What would be considered the best seat? I think a bit better to be slightly elevated like your current seat.

First row. The viewing angle is sometimes not optimal, but the sound is good and it has the best legroom.

The seats to the left have even numbers: C102, C104, C106, etc.
The seats to the right have odd numbers. My seat was C103, right next to C101.
