What in the name of everything that's holy have you got on your feet?
They're inside-out Christmas socks with trees and stockings and stuff on them. On top of that I have Birkencrocs: Birkenstock Crocs. But the better answer would be "it's 2020, motherfucker, that's what I have on my feet."
Also, the pants I have on are overstock scrubs.

Is that a wood chuck?
Don't have any of those, but we do have Phil, the groundhog who lives just behind the firewood there. We feed him stuff that's gone bad, which I'm happy to say isn't very much--I'm pretty good about winning the pantry game--but nonetheless he's pretty damn chubby.

Never ate one, but I've heard Whistle Pig is edible.

Pretty much every picture of me from ages 3 to about 12 were of me wearing that getup. 'Cept for the boots, though, I never got into horses and that kinda Western stuff isn't as much a thing back home. Flannel and jeans though? Yeah, that's pretty much the uniform.
These days I wear either scrubs or hiking pants, a cheap-ass t-shirt that has something goofy on it, and usually sandals unless I'm hiking. My wife knows I'm a lost cause.

Ours would be greasier than a Five Guys burger, I suspect. He's enormous.
We're lucky to have so many woodland neighbors, though. We've also got crow and hawk families in the trees, an absolute shitload of squirrels, a couple of possums, and a whole fox family that's been around for years.

Does your wife have a couple of more miracles under her belt? She's got one down, since she married you, and my understanding is that the Catholic Church requires three miracles for Sainthood...

The fact that she hasn't yet suffocated me in my sleep should put her on the short list. I rely on her to tell me what to wear outside in GenPop, and I promised I could listen to her most of the time.

I've spent the afternoon worrying that he's wearing inside-out Christmas socks because he's too cheap to wash them and they're so disgusting the right way round that it would detract from the rest of his costume.
