Why teens may never be the same after the pandemic

Beats contemplating offing yourself because the recruitment office couldn't accept your application to risk your life killing Nazis. Give me a freaking break, they're more used to virtual communication trumping physical interaction than any other age demographic.
This whole thing is going to be terribly hard on millions of people. Those still living with their parents hardly have the worst of it.

That was precisely my reaction.
Snowflakey!
Other generations have had serious life and death issues at that time. This is an inconvenience. If you cannot handle staying home for a month and missing prom and graduation, your parents have not done a very good job raising you with any sense of values or perspective.

It's not the teens who need slapping, it's the people who say they're not going to recover.

I think someone posted on the other forum board (or maybe I heard it somewhere else), but anyway, there was a meme going around something like:
"Your grandparents were asked to go off to war and fight to save the world. You are being asked to stay on your couch and do nothing. I think you can handle it!!"
