Okay this tea crap is way, WAY out of hand.

Related: herein I give you probably the weirdest flex you'll see this week.
This is just the green tea, okay? Just green. What the hell, man. Stop.

George's daughter is almost back to work. Maybe she can zoom you for a telemed.
Because you need help.
Now.
It's a problem, man, it really is.

Curious what packaging you really like?
Eh, I'm not too picky because sencha has become my go-to. As such, it's not too critical to keep the leaves from breaking up. (Fukamushi sencha is all broken up anyway, but it has no impact on the quality.) I've ordered sencha that's come in plastic bags, paper, tins, and foil-lined pouches. So far no problems with any in terms of packaging.
The organic variety in the far left there? That stuff Is. The. Shit. A few cups of that and I feel generally excellent for a good few hours.
For pu erh tea, I've been buying cakes that come in these reinforced envelopes. They stay completely intact and it's good tea, so I just re-up every other month or so.

If memory serves, I liked a Japanese sencha tea they served at Fairmont Hotels. I seem to drink less tea in the summer - but drink it like a crazy person in fall and winter. I still have a supply of Tropical Green by Mighty Leaf. Whose sencha have you fallen for?

Asatsuyu. Not too stupidly expensive and man it makes a good cup or five.

More like coffee on THC but yeah.

I've occasionally wondered what aging hipsters do in their spare time.

On a related note, on my regular bike ride last week I passed a guy on a penny farthing. Out in the freaking countryside, on a penny farthing.
Presumably he was on his way to pick up some tea.

Whose your supplier for Asatsuyu Sencha? I’ll have to give it a chance.
Amazon! Arrives in 2 days.
Watch the brewing though. If you don't rinse it, the first infusion takes like 10-15 seconds. The second one is almost immediate. Sometimes the third, too.

I'm also marginally employed. Don't forget that too!

You appear to have purchased an artisan tea pot. That sorry excuse for a spout is going to spill the stuff everywhere.

Master Zheng shits generally in your direction.
(By the way I wouldn't be so into it if it didn't help so much with my mood and blood pressure. Also I legit get pretty high off it so there's that.)
