Our 2nd kid was born today. A boy! Everyone is doing great. It was such a fast labor that I didn’t even have time to park the car at the hospital.

As I used to tell my patients, "Remember how you were so lost with the first kid, and you didn't know what you were doing? With the second kid, you'll be just as lost. The difference is that you know you're lost, and that's normal. That will freak you out a lot less - It's just another kid, and you'll cope."

6 pounds 13 oz. Was due 11/13 but since our first came 7 weeks early (3 pounds 11oz) we were glad we made a bit further this time.

Gasman, I thought of you as the anesthesiologist came in for the Epi. Too bad it didn’t have time to kick in...she gave birth about 12 minutes later.
