It's a glorious day in Chicago. 56 degrees and sunny.
I went for my AM walk today and was struck at how pretty my town can be....

Looks like a nice area for fall!
Kinda creepy, it being so empty, though. Is it usually that quiet?

Not creepy at all. It's a small town (pop 9K). It's quiet here.

Indeed. During summer, if it's >80 degrees, I stay home and not go for my walks. OTOH, in the fall and winter, if it's > 15 degrees, I'm out there.
I love the cold.

Great pic, George. Have you noticed whether the trees are more colorful this year? They definitely are brighter colors here, more than usual. It's been really lovely.

Lovely autumn I miss it.
Here in the middle east there is no autumn.
Summer is hot. December to February wet and chilly. Between....meh
