I see that sort of thing on an individual basis all. the. time. around my area. Dudes in loud ass pickups with various flags. I'm glad I do. Contrary opinions expressed out in the open are what's keeping us from sliding further.

And it was a Lexus SUV. Flag on top, bumper stickers. Kind of freaked the boy out a bit.
There was a parade of them maybe a month ago on a Saturday morning.

It wasn’t the mere fact of a Trump sign, there are a few of those around here. It was the aggressive in-your-face nature of the big flags on the SUV.

As I said, I can understand that reaction. But there are also far more disturbing things going on.

Holy Shit! Last night I saw some guy putting 10 Biden Harris signs up. Half were on our common community property and half on the property of the local elementary school and polling place. I decided to get the Trump signs Karla had put up (signs aren’t my bag but they are Karla’s. this year). By the time I got over there last night the HOA had already pulled his signs down on our property but left the five on the school property, so that’s where I put Karla’s two. While I was out there two other guys came out and each put up a Trump sign. 5-4 m, frr err lt good about that.
I took the dogs out for their walk this morning. There are now 19 TRUMP/PENCE SIGNS VS THE ORIGINAL 4 BIDEN SIGNS!!!!!
Then, during the walk, a guy comes jogging past with a Trump banner and all the cars on the road were honking and waving... This could be interesting!

I was approached and asked to remove my baseball cap. I then pointed out that it was a red Washingon Nationals Cap and not political in any way unless you are a Phillies fan. I then cast my vote while getting mean looks from a woman that looked suspiciously like my 11th grade honors English teacher.
I also talked to the Republican table out front and they were ecstatic with how many people were coming up to get sample ballots.
