Neither my wife nor I have used any prescription drugs for many years.

So I haven't bought any Part D coverage.

The longer I wait to buy Part D the higher penalty I will have to pay - forever.

What is the calculation to figure out when to buy this?

I guess it's just a roll of the dice. If I need drugs I'm out of luck.

You don't want to run naked. Some drugs are extremely expensive.

OK, there is one Part D plan for $7 per month

        I can handle that

My penalty is probably about $5 per month, forever.

Had the wife pull an EOB.

Remicade (Infliximab) is $4000 a pop. Infusion charge is $2300.

I'd like someone to pull on my EOB.
But I refuse to pull on anyone else's EOB.
            Marriage vows, and all that.

What Jolly said. You’re old enough to have outgrown the feeling of ‘but those health issues I hear others talk about will never happen to me’.
