      The voter pool is so much larger now that it really makes more sense to use percentages.

        Well you’re right but this gives it a certain regency bias which makes it interesting since we remember many of those races.

        Also puts Landon’s ass kicking in perspective. 90 years of population growth later he’s still in the top 5.

          There is only 1 sitting president in the right column.

          He wishes he hadn't spent the campaign hiding in the basement.

          We'll see how that turns out for Mr. Biden.

          It will be hard to ever top Mr. McGovern's electoral loss.

          1972 – Richard Nixon (R) received 520 (96.7%) of the electoral votes while George McGovern (D) received only 17 (3.2%).

          I voted for Mr. McGovern.
