            @George-K
            That's excellent news! Yeah, she will probably still feel wonky for a while yet, but she shouldn't be contagious.

            For those who posted earlier about the negative test results, that is the way it typically happens. After a positive test, and having all the symptoms to indicate a true positive, a person will eventually test negative again, meaning they are no longer shedding the virus. That's the green light for not being contagious. It can happen in as little as ten days or take months, depending on how much of a viral load the person experienced. There can be false negatives, hence the need for a second negative test to confirm.

              Very good news!

              Activity is good, but fer gawdsakes, DO NOT OVERDO IT!!!. very slow at first, and slooowly increase as you feel better.

              I know she's had two negative tests, but this can be a wicked virus. Run yourself down too much, and if there's a few viruses in the system, a patient can fall right back in the same mud puddle.

                          Thanks, George. It sounds like she's taken the recovery ramp - just needs to be gentle on herself for a while. Dad and mom can start sleeping a bit easier.

                            Does she have a recliner or some way to sleep with her head elevated a bit? Sure did help my SIL...

                                        My friend was 4 months without smell and taste but it came back really fast at the end and is normal now. Great news and tracks what I’ve seen...but the trough for your daughter was about a week longer.
