      I'm not familiar with "rail booze." I like the metaphor, though.

        Cheap liquor, a lot of time it’s not even on the shelf but in the rail under the bar. Typically used for mixed drinks.

          But it's a hobo reference, right?

            Walk back to the store room and look at the 55 gallon drums. After the third drink, you can't tell the difference between a call drink and drum alcohol.😖

              @Aqua-Letifer I don’t think so. I think it’s referring to a bar rail.

              But if you like Hobo references, may I recommend http://www.bumwine.com/

                  BTW, that's what it did for me, too. It made me feel like I could breathe easier. When you can't get a full breath for such a long time, it's just marvelous to finally be able to breathe easier.

                      A couple I recommend that are both very nice to drink neat:

                      This one is a smooth classic that's widely available.

                      b23c9e7f-3114-4033-beb3-6ecc04cbc2df-image.png

                      This one is not a bourbon, and harder to find in local stores in many places, but it is especially nice for a bad head cold or lung congestion.

                              @kluurs pretty much the same. Still coughing up a bit of phlegm. Tired and weak. But, no worse. Mornings are always the worst time for her.

                                Wait, she has something else? Or she 's just antigen negative after fighting it for a while?

                                  What jon said. What else would cause such symptoms? I though she tested positive before. False positive/negative?

                                      She tested positive 3 weeks ago. Has been sick since, but her symptoms stabilized. Tested negative yesterday.

                                      She's been told she can return to work after a) no change in symptoms and b) two consecutive negative tests.

                                        She's past that week window anyway, but it looks like she got a pretty bad case for a younger person. Hope it passes quickly.

                                          Testing negative clearly isn't the same as fully recovered. I too hope she's doing better soon.
