Block has worn off. I'm taking 1000 mg acetaminophen q 6 h. Took some at 8:30 (pre-op) and some at 3 PM. Minor incisional pain 2–3 on a scale of 1–10.
Surgeon called in some Norco (Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen) at 9 AM to Walgreens. Not gonna need it.
He called it in at 9 AM. It took Walgreens until now (5:45) to fill it. Good thing I'm not hurting.

@George-K How is surgery day +1?
-
Woke Sat am at 3 to pee and pain. Tylenol fixed it. Negligible pain throughout the day yesterday. Last tylenol at 9PM yesterday - no pain this AM. Wound is a bit itchy, but that's it. Mild discomfort (swelling/stiffness) if I stretch the ring finger but that's it.
Seeing some videos on youtube makes me realize how lucky i was to find this surgeon. Tourniquet time was 10 minutes (it was released to close both wounds).
Itch is occasional. Not even mildly annoying.
My guy did my thumb this way, and you can see how quick it is.
It's really a "nothing" operation.

Still seems intense for a nothing operation! Really hope it recovers okay and you get back to playing soon.

Glad it’s healing well!

+1 to all of the above well wishes.
Is it still doing well @George-K ?

Movement is fine. Full ROM in thumb and ring finger. Zero post-op pain other than mild incisional pain, particularly in the crotch of the thumb.
However, playing piano is...uncomfortable. Just a general ache when I play. When I had the left hand done, it was a few months before I could play without noticing that I had surgery on the hand.
I assume it'll be the same for this side. I told Dave (the surgeon) about my experience, and he agreed.
