That's just rough. Hoping you, Sarah and the family can put this all behind you and have some restful times soon.

So sorry to hear this, Larry. I can't imagine what you and your wife have gone through. She's a strong one - let's hope she's recovered soon.

Our thoughts are with both of you, Larry. Hopefully this time she's on the road to recovery.

Sarah seems to be ok, but she is still on oxygen. I finally cried in front of her today, mostly out of a sense of relief, I guess, she was joking with me a little and I couldn't hold it back any more. As pitiful as she looked her only concern was me. "Don't cry, baby. I'll be ok. I'm a fighter." I teased her by telling her she smelled awful (she didnt)..
Before she got sick she weighed 115 pounds. She has lost 20 pounds the last 4 weeks.

Hang in there. It takes four forevers to get over this virus, if you have a bad case.
SIL has been home over a week She's getting incrementally better, but she's still on oxygen and it's a walking marathon to get better, not a sprint.
Be prepared for a longer recovery period than you think, when you bring the wife home. She's going to need a couple of things:
- Spoiling and an understanding of how frustrated she feels as she doesn't bounce back as fast as she wants.
- Tamping her down just a bit, as she feels better and starts wanting to over do. The only setback SIL has had at home, is when she overdid at home a few days ago and it knocked her on her butt for a day.

The urologist is going to shove a camera up my pecker and have a look around. They haven't called to set it up yet, though. I was pissing blood for a few days which is what started this whole thing, along with another issue that's just too gross to mention... But that stopped two days after I went to my regular Dr and I've been peeing normal ever since. I don't have time to fool with it though. All that matters to me is my wife.
