So sorry, Larry. How terrifying.

Sarah seems to be ok, but she is still on oxygen. I finally cried in front of her today, mostly out of a sense of relief, I guess, she was joking with me a little and I couldn't hold it back any more. As pitiful as she looked her only concern was me. "Don't cry, baby. I'll be ok. I'm a fighter." I teased her by telling her she smelled awful (she didnt)..
Before she got sick she weighed 115 pounds. She has lost 20 pounds the last 4 weeks.

Love to hear promising news, Larry.

Hang in there. It takes four forevers to get over this virus, if you have a bad case.
SIL has been home over a week She's getting incrementally better, but she's still on oxygen and it's a walking marathon to get better, not a sprint.
Be prepared for a longer recovery period than you think, when you bring the wife home. She's going to need a couple of things:
- Spoiling and an understanding of how frustrated she feels as she doesn't bounce back as fast as she wants.
- Tamping her down just a bit, as she feels better and starts wanting to over do. The only setback SIL has had at home, is when she overdid at home a few days ago and it knocked her on her butt for a day.

Very glad to hear Sarah is mending. Now how about you?
The urologist is going to shove a camera up my pecker and have a look around. They haven't called to set it up yet, though. I was pissing blood for a few days which is what started this whole thing, along with another issue that's just too gross to mention... But that stopped two days after I went to my regular Dr and I've been peeing normal ever since. I don't have time to fool with it though. All that matters to me is my wife.

I understand, but you aren't going to do her any good, if you aren't around.
Gotta take care of you, too.

+1
Get your medical situation assessed and treatment started. If it's good news, it will take some stress off yourself. If it means treatment for you, that's what you need to do to take care of Sarah.
Either way, it might reduce your stress. Sometimes the not knowing is worse than the knowing.
