Sorry to hear that Sarah relapsed.
I hope she pulls through and recovers quickly and fully.

If you mind me asking, does she still have COVID-19 or is she already free of SARS-CoV-2 but is just dealing with pneumonia and the after-effects of the previous bout of COVID-19?

I'm not really sure how to pray but I gave it a shot. Best wishes for her full recovery Larry.

What an awful turnaround. Prayers here too.

What are they treating her with?

And let me add my best wishes for a complete recovery. Hopefully this is a setback that will be dealt with quickly.

That's just rough. Hoping you, Sarah and the family can put this all behind you and have some restful times soon.

Sarah seems to be ok, but she is still on oxygen. I finally cried in front of her today, mostly out of a sense of relief, I guess, she was joking with me a little and I couldn't hold it back any more. As pitiful as she looked her only concern was me. "Don't cry, baby. I'll be ok. I'm a fighter." I teased her by telling her she smelled awful (she didnt)..

Before she got sick she weighed 115 pounds. She has lost 20 pounds the last 4 weeks.

Hang in there. It takes four forevers to get over this virus, if you have a bad case.

SIL has been home over a week She's getting incrementally better, but she's still on oxygen and it's a walking marathon to get better, not a sprint.

Be prepared for a longer recovery period than you think, when you bring the wife home. She's going to need a couple of things:

                                          1. Spoiling and an understanding of how frustrated she feels as she doesn't bounce back as fast as she wants.
                                          2. Tamping her down just a bit, as she feels better and starts wanting to over do. The only setback SIL has had at home, is when she overdid at home a few days ago and it knocked her on her butt for a day.

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”
