    Hey @mik I’m not smart enough to know exactly where you live. I use my satellites only to track @jon-nyc

    I almost started a thread a day or two go based on the unusually high projected tornado threats in Illinois and Indiana yesterday, sounds like one headed your way too?

      Yeah, we were in the basement for half an hour. No twister.

      The odds of a tornado actually hitting you are, I suspect, much lower than getting mashed by a moron driver on the road. But Janet gets worried.

        I remember as a kid camping out in the basement for various tornadoes when we lived in Ohio.

        One took down a huge pine tree in our yard.

        There will be no deal with Iran except UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER. -DJT, 3/6/26

          Last nights twisters were moving as fast as 70mph so it’s unlikely to be hit but certainly worth it if you’re under a warning (especially if it’s verified and not just radar indicated). I suppose if I lived out in the rural area with miles of visibility I wouldn’t necessarily go into the basement or storm cellar if I was able to go outside and look for it first.
