I see this whole sordid affair as only to take the eye off the Epstein ball for a while. Now they must quickly move to a new outrage. Batten down your hatches Cuba, the mother of all hurricanes is a coming

There was much, much more to it than “only” that. In fact I would wager it was overwhelmingly a volatile combination of hubris, narcissism and foreign policy ineptitude.

Now they must quickly move to a new outrage. Batten down your hatches Cuba, the mother of all hurricanes is a coming.

I would downgrade that one to a moderate tropical storm at most. The past 35 years have worn the Cuban Revolution down to little more than a rather stale nostalgic folk tale in the minds of the Cuban people. “Time To Move On” has replaced “Viva Fidel!” for some time already.

            Elbows up!

He can't say anything but you know he feels the shame deep in his bones. As do most of us.

He’s probably thinking:”I’m going to look so much better by comparison when I’m President.”

Seeing a lot of backlash regarding Vance's negotiating "skills."

                      Good lord.

                      I love you long time.

Yeah. Some of that is the cultish ‘Trump can’t fail, he can only be failed’. Others, like Ted Cruz, I think is more strategic still holding out hope that Trump changes his mind.

Christie might be prepping for 2028. He reminds me of what the politician probably sounded (and looked like!) in the early 1900s.
