Save America Act solution

I posted this just now on my fb. It was 8am local time with two cappucinos in my belly and a brain now connected to the system with all systems green.
I think most of us already have some semblance of knowledge regarding the Save America Act that is starting to move through Congress. It is championed by President Trump of course, as it fits his narrative that all of these states are rigging elections in the favor of Democrats.
I can see both sides of the aisle and respect both of their points and when we come to these kind of barrier walls, it is in these times that I wish we had some of the old school congressional leaders who would take the time to reach across the aisle and find a compromise.
I would love to see some semblance of this act being passed if only to shut up Maga from claiming everything is rigged. But you must know the reality that the requirements of this act make it very difficult for the average American and especially the economically challenged to retrieve such documents easily so that they have the right to vote.
It’s very clear why the right side of the aisle is sponsoring this legislation and that they hope to curtail the minority vote which hurts their election chances. That’s painfully obvious for anyone to see.
The fact is that the left side of the aisle outnumbers you and you find yourselves in positions of trying to create a voting system that heavily favors your side. We can talk about gerrymandering and who is more responsible for utilizing that tool where the politicians get to pick the voters instead of the other way around. This helps create entrenched, republican majority votes in the red states.
The Democrats actually introduced legislation to stop all gerrymandering, and the result was that every Republican congressman voted no.
So the Dems found themselves having to take their gloves off and get into the mud with the other side to try to somewhat even the score. Your bubble prevents you from acknowledging this though and you simply point at the left with an example of what happened in California recently , which was due to Trump telling the governor of Texas to do redistricting, during a period where these things arent done being a new census has not yet occurred. But that didnt stop him from his demand to the governor so that the Republican party could pick up five more Red districts.
Getting back to compromise, I would love to see a bill that becomes law that would require some sort of voter ID, whether it’s birth certificates, passports, etc., but since the federal government wants to dictate how these states go about their voting processes, they need to institute a national database of sorts that makes it a one click type of Amazon style process for any legal voter to simply login and retrieve the needed document to prove their ability to vote. I’m sure this will cost money, but I believe it’s money Well spent that would calm down the current outrage, that in my opinion, has been misplaced ever since Trump came into the picture.

I mean this with all due respect, but man if I lived in Italy I would not care about American politics.
I live in Minnesota and I barely care. So much of the news and drama has no impact on my life, in the sense if I didn't turn on the TV or internet, my daily life and things I do with my family would remain unchanged.

I should remain mute to injustice when I see it? Believe me, I spend most of my days out exploring an adventuring and seeing new things that this Ilan has to offer and it’s been fucking amazing so far. But how you can equate my new life to totally ignoring what’s going on in the country I love most boggles my mind. I would truly love to hear more insight from you as to why you feel I need to let my country go. Are you thinking about my long-term health and the fact that if I did let it go, I would probably release less cortisol through my system? I don’t wish to sound a little bit rude here, but it seems like you’re trying to tell me how to think and act based on how you think and act correct me if I’m wrong though 89th I really want to hear what’s going on in your head and also curious why you nor anybody else wishes to debate the actual message I posted I thought it was sensible and made a great compromise for both sides. Or you can really tell me the truth and just say I don’t belong in your clique. You sit here and put up with horace’s horse shit every day and I make a single post of thoughtfulness and you question why I care about my own fucking country? This is a clique through and through. I just can’t last long here after having to smell all the dishonesty that goes on throughout here the vibe is never truly honest. It’s just cliquish and I’ve never liked clicks at all in any shape or form.

This is where the dishonesty lies. And God forbid I bring up a topic about what started this form, pianos. All I receive is ridicule from fellow piano players even. And so when I post political things to try to fit in, I just get double ridicule. A guy can’t win here and you wonder why I fucking takeoff. so go ahead. Let it all out. Show your envy be proud of it because you wish you were fucking me right now not in a literal sense but you wish because you’re tied down with a wife in a traditional I can’t go anywhere life and I’m free and you wish you were me and it tears you up inside cause you ain’t and I’m not speaking to one person here I’m speaking as a whole because it reeks. But then there’s a guy like Mik, he doesn’t live with the envy at all, and even though we don’t agree politically, I can see he takes delight in seeing how my life progresses, and if there was one man on this form, I would love to meet in person it’s him there’s an honesty about him that he doesn’t have to hide here and I respect that.

I read it both places and I think it’s worth considering. I’m not terribly concerned with the details so long as it is not excessively burdensome on legit citizens. I’ve had to present photos ID for years in Ohio. It’s not foolproof but it’s probably as good as we can reasonably expect. I don’t agree we need a national database.
Vote by mail should be the exception.

It’s easy for you to say. I have opinions just like anyone else except it just becomes clear that they’re never taken seriously and only responded to with ridicule, disguised as a legitimate reply. And what’s sadder is some of it comes from people I wouldn’t expect it to come from. I don’t know any of you. I really don’t. I want to think I do, but I have to realize that when I come back into this place and try to fit in all I do is step on toes. It seems it’s not a one off you know it. And I respect you probably more than most anyone here because you are the king of levity when the shit hits the fan and like Tom Kay said sometimes your jokes hit and sometimes they actually hit harder. I have to admit as soon as I type the words, Monty Python that ridiculous Benny Hill theme song started playing in my head and I knew I picked the wrong comedy. I actually think you’re a hybrid between the two.
