Maine Senate Race

That's nowhere near as ugly as what we're seeing for the national, state AND even the local elections. The race to the bottom has to be close to the finish line.
Our primary is today and I cannot bring myself to vote for ANY of these people. I have never skipped an election.

Well, I went and voted, holding my nose most of the time. But there was one guy I just had to go vote against. For the first time there were several that I left blank because i didn't know anything about the candidates. An uninformed vote is worse than no vote at all.

But back to the video, I assume that's real? SHe's shaking like that and will be 80 by the end of the next senate term...
I think Platner will walk away with this one.

On May 6, Sen. Susan Collins, a Republican from Maine, revealed that she’s had a condition called essential tremor throughout the duration of her nearly 30-year Senate career and that she takes medication for it.
“I have had it for the entire time that I have served in the United States Senate,” Collins, 73, told News Center Maine. “It has absolutely no impact on my ability to do my job or on how I feel each day.” Collins recently announced in a video that she is running for a sixth term, and online comments called attention to the shakiness in Collins’ hands, voice, and head.

I occasionally get ads for clinical trails for essential tremor on Facebook. Got me thinking that maybe Facebook thinks I shake my phone a little too much.
