    Which AI do you use?

What do you use it for?

Is there really a difference between them?

I use Grok as a replacement for google. It will give me a recipe or a brief recap of a news story.

I actually use it for my job. Which is almost certainty beyond you.

      Education is extremely important.

I somewhat reluctantly use Copilot at work, after 'strong encouragement' from our senior management. I use it for answering awkward emails which require levels of corporate BS that I am unable and unwilling to write by myself.

I've been told that it's not going to take away my job, but that somebody using it could take my job if I don't use it, so that's nice. The person who said this has absolutely no idea what I do. I strongly suspect they'd be easier to replace with AI than I would, but they're higher up the food chain, so that won't happen.

Of late I seem to spend a lot of time thinking about my retirement date.

        I was only joking

I have four apps in a row on the front page of my phone - ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, and Claude. I use ChatGPT for serious stuff, the others just a bit. There’s some stickiness there because ChatGPT has so much context.

          Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.

I'm using a Chat-GPT Plus subscription for app development, database analysis and data management. I also use it for customer support issues, etc. It's excellent for producing apps that talk to APIs that I really don't want to code by hand. A shitload faster than any coder I have ever known. Including myself.
