I lived in Pekin Illinois for several years when I was little. To be more specific, Creve Coer.

Her daddy had a small airplane and a landing strip in a field behind his house. He would take me and Gloria Jean up in it every once in a while.

I remember that story from TOCR. I thought it was pretty neat.

Long Grove is a suburb about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. Nice town.
