      Did you measure?

Sure did. From home addresses of either of us to downtown Pekin is 157 miles.

I lived in Pekin Illinois for several years when I was little. To be more specific, Creve Coer.

Was that when you knew that coffee girl?

Her daddy had a small airplane and a landing strip in a field behind his house. He would take me and Gloria Jean up in it every once in a while.

I remember that story from TOCR. I thought it was pretty neat.

"Gloria Jean's Coffees was founded by Gloria Jean Kvetko in 1979 in Long Grove, Ill., a small town just outside Chicago."

Long Grove is a suburb about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. Nice town.
