Tornado season

Started a few days ago with the 2 twisters in Michigan... chatter is saying north Illinois may get one tonight.

The footage of the winter weather twisters in Michigan was something else. I was 9 months pregnant and overdue in Madison WI when we had to spend an hour or so in our creepy 1800’s era rock walled basement. I grew up in Central Illinois. Feels like the weather is far more unsettled now than it was then, but then we didn’t get to see every tornado almost immediately after it happened on our phone.

Looks like a good sized twister hit around Kankakee, IL earlier and right now the map is showing another potential tornadic cell heading that way again. Lord help those people if a daytime tornado disaster zone is hit by a nighttime tornado…
