The footage of the winter weather twisters in Michigan was something else. I was 9 months pregnant and overdue in Madison WI when we had to spend an hour or so in our creepy 1800’s era rock walled basement. I grew up in Central Illinois. Feels like the weather is far more unsettled now than it was then, but then we didn’t get to see every tornado almost immediately after it happened on our phone.
