    Each member of my family has had a variation of a cold lately. Started with my wife, then a few days later the next kid and so on... it's dodged me so far.

    Except this afternoon, I feel fine but it's almost like I had non-dizzy dizzy spell... really hard to describe, but for like for 30-60 minutes I would be doing something (helping my kid, taking a shower, went out to pick up dinner) but had almost a dream-level-detail (aka not much) of the prior 30 minutes when I'd think about what I just did. Almost as if when I tried to remember what happened over the previous 20 minutes it was the same frustrating as trying to remember what happened in a dream. Very odd.

    It's faded away now. I wasn't terribly hungry but eating dinner seemed to kick the fuzzy short term memory thing away. I figured it was just the first random sign that I'm next up to get the cold going through the house. I feel fine now... just odd.

    Maybe I'm finally starting to lose it!

      I have had that feeling before. Almost like being drunk without the drinking! LOL

        It's Minnesooota. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

          @89th

          Sounds like brain fog. Maybe that cold wasn’t a cold, but rather a Covid variant.

          It’s possible….

            Yeah brain fog I suppose! I did wake up the next day with a cold (still have it) so maybe it was an early symptom.
