I don't even want electronic door locks on my home. A key is fine.
I have one but it takes a key also as backup. It’s great because you can define a specific code for a specific person and see when it was used and disable it at any time.

This video is a good reason why. I think the battery under the car was pierced which caused the fire. There were 4 people in the car. The last one pretty burned I'm sure.

@89th Wow!!! I am sure that the driver almost had a heart attack when the front door closed and then there was no entry.

I've been briefly trapped inside a car after an accident (I exited via the windshield), and also had my car catch fire (it was a petrol fire not electric) - thankfully not during the same incident, but both experiences were somewhat stressful.
