I wonder how many customers they'll lose.

I had the steak and eggs with pancakes a couple weeks ago in KS. Good stuff and no whipped cream in sight.
Fun fact about IHOP, the pancakes are served on a tiny plate almost exactly the size of the pancakes. I've decided that this is to keep customers from pouring a huge amount of syrup on them. Though lucky IHOP, in the days of COVID, they no longer have syrup carafes at the table. Now you get an ungenerous serving of syrup in a small cup. Don't look for them to quickly return to normal on that front. I bet the all you can eat syrup at the table was a margin killer for them.

How does society deal with people that smell bad today?
Typically they're refused service at decent restaurants so they have to eat in places like IHOP.

IHOP's OK if you want to eat a humongous breakfast, but I'd always go to a non-chain privately owned alternative if one was available.

There's a place in my neighborhood that offers a two-egg any-style breakfast. When I ordered it, I was served four eggs. I asked how that happened and I was told, "Oh, that's just what we do."

They like you, George.
That's how that happens.

They're actually trying to induce a coronary while you're sitting there.
How else do you think they make the sausages so cheap?

They beat Waffle House.
Licking piece of moly bread that fell in the gutter and sat there for three days beats Waffle House.

They do at least run disinfectant through their coffee pots occasionally. I know this because they poured me a cup of it once when I ordered a cup.

How did you tell the difference?
