I don’t recall seeing such seething hatred for the constitution

We've been seeing vides of this on reddit for many months, this is not breaking news. They are literally saying on tape "I stopped you because of your accent" or "I asked where you were born because of how you look" they force people out of cars, they literally forced a family (in my neighbor's in-law's neighborhood JUST TODAY) out of their home without a warrant.
I have no problem with immigration enforcement, certainly if they go after actual criminals first, but they are stopping because openly admitting because of the accent or skin color. Heck, at 3pm they raided a construction site about 2 miles north to haul off some folks roofing (yes, in negative degree temps they are working hard with their kids in school). Sorry kids, hope you had a good day in school but dad isn't coming back to this home ever again.

Most of the illegals have found a valuable place in the economy doing things that Americans can't or won't do. I'm starting to think they should let the GOOD people apply for citizenship if they are doing something useful.

Uh huh. Two of them just laid a floor for me this week. Did a beautiful job.

Yeah most folks rely on their cheap/skilled labor without thinking twice. Painters, construction, chefs in a Mexican restaurant, farm workers... That's what bothers me, most of those 25,000 non-criminal detainees were just hard working dads trying to make money for their family. Makes me sick to see it.

As I understand your law, it is a criminal offence to enter the USA by illegal methods, whether by jumping a fence, hitching a boat ride or presenting a fake passport at customs.
These people may be gun toting drug dealers or hard working catholics, no matter, they are criminals as defined by federal law.Just as it is the law that your President can legally blanket pardon armed rioters who caused or contributed to multiple deaths when attacking your Capitol Building.
You need a decent potus & scotus to review the crap out of your laws/constitution.
And I say this as a true admirer of the US.Over here we keep chipping away at injustices. About time to dethrone the Royal Family for starters, stop paying for 23 decadent Royal Estates.

While immigration law is actually a civil (not criminal) matter, if someone enters the USA illegally, it technically is a criminal act, but let's clarify what level of crime. It is a misdemeanor for the first offense, the same "criminal" level as dropping a cigarette butt from your car window or shaking a broom out of your New York apartment window. (seriously) Now, if you are deported and return illegally, that is a felony.

And then adopt republican governance?
Repugnant.

President Farage may only be a few short years away.

I have a normal level of sympathy for the perspective that illegals do a great deal of the work in this country. But enforcing the law regarding their presence hardly equates to a seething hatred of the constitution. Which feels gross to even type, it's just so inflammatory and idiotic.
-
Orin Kerr is the most cited living expert on the 4th amendment and has written about this. True, there's the son of a former meth whore who went to YLS who has a different opinion but I'm not sure any legal scholars have ever cited him for his legal thoughts.

The seething hatred for the constitution is also a recurring theme. We see how much the administration hates the first amendment, the fifth amendment (due process), the 12th amendment (electoral count), emoluments clause, separation of powers, “take care” clause (cf TikTok), and the oath of office (peaceful transfer of power) and I’m probably forgetting 10 things.

You’re going to look us in the eye and say he respects the first amendment? That one he violates most frequently including this week with another threatened lawsuit over a poll he didn’t like. How about due process? They outright argued due process is not for guilty people.
