The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

The retcon that has occurred amongst a large number of "conservatives" regarding Iraq is something to behold.

My opinion is still the same. I find it highly unlikely that every western intelligence agency was that far off, and the fact that each and every one wasn’t dismantled and built back up from scratch supports that.

Beyond that, Hussein was a terror supporter, was in extreme violation of the ceasefire, and was playing FAFO games with the inspectors.

The big change is that the people who opposed the invasion used to be called traitors and libtards. Now they're called patriots and stable genies.

        I was only joking

Kim/North Korea and Khamenei/Iran are similar, doesn't mean you need to invade them.

Looks like the above screw up is about to birth a litter of satirical spin-offs.

What Trump Was Really Like at Davos
Many Davos attendees acknowledged in interviews that the state of global affairs today is more unstable than at any time in generations. They said the world appeared to be splitting into spheres of influence, forcing business leaders to think about government relations—and risks to their operations—in an entirely new, transactional way.

Some investors said they were anxious about committing capital or decisively moving on new investments. At parties across town all week, U.S. executives acknowledged that deals and partnerships they hoped to ink with international investors didn’t happen because so many of their meetings wound up being discussions about Trump’s unpredictable foreign policy.

                  and

On Monday, before Trump touched down in the Alps, Anthony Scaramucci, the financier who served for 11 days as communications director during the president’s first term, was ready with his prediction about Trump’s return to Davos for the first time since 2020. “If you asked me today, in 2026 who is the best reality television producer in the world, it’s Donald J. Trump,” he said.

“And what do you do when you have a reality television show? You create conflict, you create absurdity, you create drama, and then you create resolution, which provides some type of relief for the audience. And that’s what I predict he’s gonna do.”
