Can’t blame the student, she probably doesn’t know any better. Fault is entirely on the faculty members at Mickey Mouse University - San Antonio campus who not only accepted her into the PhD programme to start but then approved the dissertation proposal itself.

Is there a link to the entire dissertation?
It would be more fair to critique after skimming through the original document rather than opining off a few choice quotes selected by some rando on social media.OK, found the newly minted PhD. on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/olga-estrada-28b74a65 … but I am not sufficiently motivated to reach out to ask for a copy of their dissertation. And, social media being what they are these days, I cannot be entirely sure that the LinkedIn profile is a true reflection of the real person anyway.
