    I had not considered this.

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

Yeah the “not stressed” part I can’t imagine, yet. A 7 hour drive on a highway surrounded by human drivers without being stressed does not seem to seem realistic to me yet. Then again, I haven’t tried the fancy robot cars yet.

We experience a version of it when we take a car service to the airport. But maybe it’s better still in your own car without a stranger in it. But yeah I’ve slept away the 40-60 minute drive to the airport more than once

Cool. I suppose I trust the other driverless vehicles, normally trams at the airport but they are on tracks and not a risk to crash with other vehicles. Either way… presuming I can feel safe, yes it would be nice to nap or do work (or scroll TNCR!) instead of driving. I flew to DC today and slept before we took off (oddly I find the taxi and takeoff very calming to sleep through) and woke up 20 minutes before landing. Like time traveling!

There's a famous social science finding that dealing with traffic and commutes is not something one can become accustomed to. It is just a constant drain on one's psyche.

            Education is extremely important.

I’m not sure that I can trust the system well enough to relax.

                Yeah, that.

Though we do (usually) when someone else is driving. And this is statistically safer.
