What’s the mood there about all the Somali fraud? Are people pissed? Think anything will change?

The whole reason we call them illegal aliens is because they’re subject to our laws.

Wish I had more valuable of local insight here, but it's not much of a news story here any moreso than what is on normal news media websites you might see. I've never heard it brought up in conversation. I'd imagine most people here know there's a Somali pocket close to downtown (has been for decades) and that there was a Feeing Our Future fraud scandal prosecuted in 2023 or so.

Will anything change? I'd have to imagine there will be a substantial decrease in fraud and increase in scrutiny, especially as videos like this one is starting to go viral.

BTW I presume there's this level of fraud all over the country... Medicare fraud in Florida, business fraud in New York, legal fraud here, farming fraud there, livestock fraud... and I also presume the DOJ investigates and prosecutes as much as it can handle. So I'm not terribly surprised by any of this.

Yeah, I suspect we haven’t even scratched the surface yet.
