Gross and stupid and divorced from any reality of how he actually died.
As context, Reiner was not just another hollywood leftist default anti-Trumper. He was a very energetic and angry activist. I know, no excuse. But it's the reality of why Trump wrote this, I mean beyond the reality of Trump being basically sick in the head when it comes to personal retribution.

He is sick. I know the people in power are hardly EVER the good/honest /noble people we want and need them to be, but I wish he could at least outwardly try to honor the position he has been elected to. It’s so disgraceful. Makes me really unhappy.

I remember back in 2016 that I decided not to vote for him under the simple view of "I couldn't tell my kids I voted for someone who talks like that (insults others, grabbing pussies, etc)" and sadly that perspective has been routinely reinforced since then.
