Though much fainter than what they look like in a photo, we could see the reds and pinks and greens here.

A lot of people posted them from here too, but all camera detected.

Some are posting pics here. Can you see them without the camera?

Yes, last night's show was easy to see without a camera. Admittedly, however the iPhone camera works, it picks up more color than you can see but the photos above were unedited. For sure last night you could see pink and white "cloud/bands" with just your eye. Almost looks like a really, really high up snow cloud.

Apparently the Aurora were out in their full splendour here last evening around 7 pm to the northwest. As usual I missed the whole light show.

I’ve only seen them once at least in full spectacle.

And it was a surprise, to us. I was maybe 15 or 16 with a buddy and we were camping on a random island in the St Laurence during summertime.

If you don't take it, it can only good happen.

They’re supposed to be visible tonight also. All across the northern part of the continent.

Hopefully the cloud will clear this evening and I’ll be able to marvel at them. Already dark here.

Not as spectacular tonight, of course now I'm spoiled. Tonight is just a nice haze near the north horizon of faint green dancing fog. Either that or my neighbors are really enjoying their weed tonight.
